MAY 9-10
Fredericton International TubaFest 2008

TubaFest is bringing in Sotto Voce Quartet as clinicians and Lance Nagels and Jean Sutherland are coming to play two pieces that have been composed as tributes to John Griffiths.

We have moved it to the second weekend of May so it does not conflict with the Atlantic Band Festival. This year we are taking the clinicians into two of our local schools and to Saint Andrews for a public concert. We have received international recognition - Barton Cummings from California has composed the Fredericton Suite for our event this year.

For more information, see the Fredericton International
TubaFest website.

June 22

There will be a concert in memory of Ron MacKay on the evening of  Sunday June 22nd. at CEC.                                                     Details to follow.

CEC Band Alumni and anyone else interested in playing please put this on your calendar. Paul Barrett in organizing the concert. Contact Paul if you are available.  Music which Ron has written or arranged will be played.  Paul' eamail address:
